I have not one, but TWO wonderful projects coming up that I wanted to invite you to! I will be playing Mercutio in Match:Lit's production of ROMEO AND JULIET and I will be one of four actors performing in 6 of Kyle Smith's short plays. It's going to be a wonderful, wacky, theatre-filled February. JOIN ME!

WHY

This process has been incredible. All of the actors, directors, and artists involved are putting in 110%. I am so grateful to be involved and to be working on this wild ride of a character that goes by the name of Mercuzio. It is so rare that a team can attempt to produce Shakespeare with a new perspective without entirely changing the environment. I believe this production has been successful in that. Not to mention, it makes for an incredible queer story. The roles of Romeo and Mercutzio are played as women by women. As a queer performer, I am proud to be a part of a truthful, queer story about women in love.

WHY

I have had the pleasure of performing in Kyle Smith plays for some years now and this is the PERFECT opportunity to see an eclectic range of his work. It not only showcases Kyle's range as a playwright and director, but also the actors involved who are playing all of the roles across six of Kyle's short plays. I am very proud of the work I have put into these many wonderful characters (some of them I've been working on for years) and would love to show them to you in one fell swoop. From my humble, actorly perspective, Kyle writes comedy with a dark underbelly and an absurdist lens, criticizing current issues; like if you owned a lovable dog who, at any moment, might bite you and might tell you to grow a pair. If art continues with this kind of bravery and laughter, I have hope for the future.
